The purpose of the Parish and Family Life Committee is to provide for the growth and development of the parish and its many families. It is to promote Christian community and to enrich family living within the parish community. The committee's concern includes all age groups and their varied needs.
Formed in 2002, the Campus Ministry Committee strives to continue a connection with our young adult parishioners who have embarked on their collegiate or military journeys. It is the mission of this committee to provide these young parishioners with a sustained relationship with their parish family, knowing that the transition from high school to college or the military can often be a difficult one. News from home includes care packages sent at intervals throughout the year and parish social gatherings for students when they are on break from school.
The main goals of the Saint Benedicts/Saint Elizabeth's Parish Campus Ministry are:
A. To help all young adults who are in the military or in college feel connected to their Church family. B. To assure all young adults that they will be prayed for and thought of each day as they begin or continue this special stage of their life. C. To bring a smile to all young adults each time they receive a special package from this committee.Mrs. Linda Schirmer, Chairperson 908-227-0477 lindasch1126@gmail.com
