MASSES WILL BE CELEBRATED at 9:00A.M. at ST. ELIZABETH CHURCH & 6:00P.M. at ST. ELIZABETH CHURCH. Traditionally, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception is on December 8th. But, since the 8th falls on a Sunday this year, the feast has been moved to December 9th. The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is a time to celebrate the great joy of God’s gift to humanity in Mary, and to recognize with greater clarity, the truth that each and every human being has been created by God to fulfill a particular mission that only he or she can fulfill. Remember that the first precept of the Catholic Church is our obligation to attend Mass on all Sundays and holy days. A holy day of obligation is also a day of celebration that helps us to live out the joy of our salvation.
