This year's diocesan Marian Pilgrimage honors the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title "Mother and Teacher in the Spirit". Join fellow pilgrims from parishes throughout our diocese for Mass, prayer, and tours of the Shrine and its many beautiful chapels. The pilgrimage will take place on Saturday, October 5 from 10am-4pm and we still have a few seats left on our parish bus which will depart Ridgely at 8:15a.m.
Parishioner Amanda Krow is now Sr. Amanda Marie de Jesus, a novice with the Little Sisters of the Poor. She received her veil and her new name at a Mass in Queen of Peace Church in Queens, NY on October 27, 2022. She will continue her formation journey through temporary vows and a second novitiate, each of which will last two years. Click Amanda's photo at the left to read more about her journey. Our diocese also has 9 men discerning a call to the priesthood. Please keep Amanda and all of our diocesan seminarians in your prayers. And, keep praying for more vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life.
Our parish booth at Summerfest was a great success! We met many new people and had some great conversations, sharing information about our parish and the Good News of God's Love! And, our St. Benedict and St. Elizabeth icons were a huge hit. As Fr. Lewis often reminds us, we are all "saints in the making". Check out some photos from the event on our Photo Album page!
