Catholic Relief Services and their Caritas partners on the ground are offering support to meet ongoing needs as the war continues. Your financial gifts to Catholic Relief Services enable the families in Ukraine and the surrounding countries to receive food, clothing, transport to safe shelter, cash assistance, counseling and care for children. Years of conflict along the eastern border had already displaced 1.3 million people from their homes and claimed 14,000 lives and now 2.3 million people have fled Ukraine. Almost ninety percent of the refugees are women and children. Throughout this time, Caritas Ukraine, with support from CRS, has been providing emergency relief and recovery. Knights of Columbus all over the world stand in solidarity, ready to support the 1,889 Knights and their families, the Church, and all in need in Ukraine. To date, $17 million have been donated in support of Ukraine through this fund!! As the situation in Ukraine continues to change, the need to support refugees continues to grow. The Knights of Columbus are working with their councils in Poland as well as the Latin and Greek Catholic Churches in Ukraine to provide temporary shelter, food, medical supplies, clothing, and communications. 100% of your donation goes directly to support humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
