On October 4, people all over the world will be celebrating the feast day of the Patron Saint of Animals, St. Francis of Assisi.  It’s customary that in remembrance of St. Francis’s love for all creatures, animals are led to churches for a special blessing.  Fr. Lewis will offer two opportunities to have your pets and animals blessed that day – 10:10a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church and 5:30p.m. at St. Benedict Church in Ridgely.  Bring your pets & animals, large and small … just remember, they must be on a leash or in a carrier or trailer.   See the flyer here.
